Every feature, in plain words.
Lintel 1.0.0 has 38 features in eleven groups, the same groups you see in its settings. Each one has a switch.
This is the first release. The island, the agents, chat, media, the shelf, timers and the clipboard have been used the most. Some of the system tools have been tried less. FEATURES.md says how far each one is built, and the roadmap lists what is left open.
Agents Your AI coding agents, on the island.
Coding agents
See what each agent session is doing. When an agent asks for permission, a card slides out with Allow and Deny. Answer its questions, see what it changed, and jump to its terminal. It works with Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor, GitHub Copilot CLI, OpenCode, Amp, Hermes, Antigravity and the Claude desktop app. The hooks for Cursor, Antigravity and Hermes have not been confirmed on a real install yet.
Agent usage
Tokens used by Claude Code and Codex, today and this week, with an estimated value and your plan limits. Read from the logs on your PC. Only numbers are read, never your text.
Integrations
Small status pills for GitHub, Vercel, Stripe, Notion, Resend, Cal.com and n8n.
Needs your own key for each serviceWeekly recap
A weekly summary of your agents’ work, kept on this computer.
Chat Ask a model without opening a browser.
Chat
Ask a question from the island. Use your own key (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or OpenRouter), a model on your PC through Ollama or LM Studio, or a command-line agent you already have.
Needs a key or a local modelChat plus
Extras for chat: attach a window as context, and send a file by email. An email is only sent when you click Send.
Media Music and sound.
Now playing
The song that is playing, with its cover, a seek bar and controls. It works with any player Windows knows about. A short notice shows when the track changes.
Audio mixer
Volume and mute for each app, a picker for the sound output, a shortcut to switch outputs, and one key that mutes every microphone.
Audio extras
Music bars, the mascot moving to the beat, and finer volume steps.
Off by defaultIsland Tabs that live on the island itself.
Calendar
Your next meeting with a countdown, a week view, and a simple list of reminders.
Needs a calendar link (.ics) from youControls
Sliders for volume and brightness, quick switches (dark mode, hidden files, desktop icons, lock, display off, Recycle Bin), and a notes pad with tabs that saves itself.

System monitor
Processor, graphics, memory, disk and network, with a list of processes and open ports. A speed test runs only when you click it.
Hardware sensors
Temperatures, fans and drive health, read by a small helper program. Fan control is a beta.

Screen recorder
Record the screen, a window or an area as an MP4 file. Editing a recording afterwards is not in this version.

Shelf
Park files, text and links on the island, then drag them out again later. Share, zip or rename them from there.
File drop
Drop a file on the island to ask a model about it or to send it on by email.
Tools Everyday helpers.
Clipboard
A history of what you copied (text, links, pictures, files) with search and pins. Paste as plain text. Remove tracking parts from a copied link. Passwords and private copies are left out.
Cleaner
Find caches, logs and leftovers that can go. You review the list, and they move to the Recycle Bin. Uninstall a program and see what it left behind.

The line being sung, under the song. The feature is on, but it looks nothing up until you turn on the lookup from LRCLIB.
